CHOTRUL DUCHEN MONTH – MONTH OF MULTIPLIED MERIT

🌻 We would like to share some information about this sacred month in which merit increases manyfold. During the first fifteen days—from the 1st to the 15th of the Tibetan lunar month (18 Feb – 3 Mar Gregorian Calendar)—the Buddha performed great miracles, and all virtuous actions are multiplied many times.

🌷 24 Feb (8th day of the 1st Tibetan month) is the anniversary of the Medicine Buddha.
🌷 25–26 Feb (9th and 10th Tibetan days) are the memorial days of Lama Sang.
🌷 3 Mar (15th Tibetan day) is the Great Auspicious Day, the day the Buddha displayed the full extent of His miraculous powers. On this day, merit is multiplied tens of millions of times, and it is also the sacred day of Buddha Amitabha.
