CHÖKHOR DÜCHEN – the Festival of Turning the Wheel of Dharma
Dear Dharma friends,
🌹🌹🌹🙏🙏🙏 July 9, 24 is the great auspicious day of CHÖKHOR DÜCHEN- the ‘Festival of Turning the Wheel of Dharma’ — one of the four major Buddhist holidays. It occurs on the fourth day of the sixth Tibetan lunar month. For seven weeks after his enlightenment, Buddha did not teach. Finally, encouraged by Indra and Brahma, he turned the Wheel of Dharma for the first time, at Sarnath, by teaching the ‘Four Noble Truths’.
On this sacred day, merit increases ten million times, and retribution for evil deeds also increases ten million times. This is an opportunity for monks, nuns, and Buddhists all over the world to strengthen their precepts, participate in good deeds, practice, and practice to accumulate merit and purify karma.
We are pleased to send information for you to share and accumulate countless merits on this great auspicious day. 🙏🙏🙏🌸🌸🌸
May the Buddhas of the ten directions bless us. 🙏🙏🙏🌈🌈🌈
